Who you got and why? It should definitely be a great game with a ton of talent on both teams who have the potential to make a deep run in the playoffs.

I think Brookville is going to be a little ticked off and motivated by their playoff loss last year and that will give them the slight edge.

I think for brookville is to win they need to get the passing game going LCA knows how to stop there run game . Air game going to be the key on the win !! Good luck to the Bees !!

LCA has too much for the Bees, in the trenches and at qb they have the best players on the field. Brookville can keep it close but I’m going with Rocco over Meeks in the chess match.

I think Brookville will be out for revenge over last years loss in the Playoffs.
However I don't know if that can overcome what LCA brings to the field physically.
I'm seeing LCA by 10+ at least.

I think LCA has to be a favorite to win 3a this year , I know it’s still early but with all that D1 talent I that team they will be a hard out ! Be surprised if not LCA and Phoebus in finale.
Not having seen alot of C3 teams play, but with the advantage LCA has and the VHSL saying they dont they are going to be a tough team way into the future.

Yes and they will get to play on their home field. That isn't fair. They have so many advantages.

I learned for years now as a Phoebus fan since we moved down to Class 3. Nothing is a given. There is still a lot of football left to be played. Trying to get out our region should be the first objective. Phoebus still has Lafayette, Hopewell, York, Lake Taylor and more to contend with. Although Lake Taylor hasn't been as dominant this season, they won't be the same team come November. Hank Sawyer knows what he's doing over there.

yeah but that doesn’t change what the kids go out there and do on the field, they are what they have been the private school that’s de facto apart of liberty university

LCA been around much longer than the university. I was in 6th grade there the first year they had college. Think they started with about 20 students, look at them now .

If they can get most of the best players from other schools they will be good on the field. Not a fan and never will be.

I agree! I say the same about LCA on this side of the state. Everyone is ready to crown them as state champs after 4-5 games but they have to get out of their region too. They play Heritage in two weeks and that will be their toughest test to date. They most likely will have to see them again in the playoffs too and that will not be a given win.

I'm not a fan of LCA either but they don't get "most of the best players from other schools." They only have 3 starters that transferred from other area high schools. 2 of them were not even starters at their previous schools. The rest of their starters have been at LCA since 9th grade or earlier.

all the schools can do the same thing they can (minus the facilities), if you look at the district transfers happen for every school, not solely people in an exodus to LCA. They are the premier program right now in the area. After roughly 5 years in public school football they finally have begun being a force, but I think its due to the athletes that are currently there (multiple power 5 players within a 2 year window).

you have an issue with the way things work at LCA and make blanket statements in terms of recruiting but you fail to realize every school essentially does it, whether its via players, coaches, alum, or boosters -- I also don't see the mass exodus of seminole talent piling up at LCA, the most recent POY haven't been at LCA.
