This should be a great football game. I've been thinking about this matchup all season. Can brookville defense stop the warrior offense? MV has some injury issues, Lb Brunson should be back, he missed Heritage game, MV center is out, heard he had mono, dl #73 was out against Heritage, not sure of his status. How does brookville look with injuries? Still should be a hard hitting game!! The winner of this game should be in the final 4 representing the west.

Just Depends on What Brookville team Shows up .Saying that they match up well with MV spread.Key to the game is stoping MV from running the ball and can Brookville control the clock to keep MV hi power offense off the Field. It's a shame these teams got to play each other so early ,I really do think these two teams are the best in 3A west.It should be a Great Game if Brookville can step up and match MV Scoreing.I think MV has bigger guys up front then Brookville.Bees has the speed to match up with there MV WR's but I don't think the Bees have the size or over all speed that MV has.

How good are the Bee's defensive backs? Just ordinarily good? Or better than that? Of course, if MV gets their running game going, that becomes a moot point. After all the int's against GW, you have to ask this question.

The MV QB gets careless like he did at GW, and the results will be the same. Otherwise, MV blows them out.

He didn't get careless, he was under pressure several times, its funny to me that if GW wins a game it's because the other team was sleepy from the bus ride, or the qb got careless, or the refs cheated , but if Salem or,JF win its because they are super teams

It was great for a quarter or so. Magna Vista showed their dominance, strength and team speed. Pulled away and never let the Bees off the mat. Warriors still in it to win it. Good season Bees

How about learn how to act on the football field . That kid swinging a punch should Have got tossed .

Yes he should have.. to be honest i thought sportsmanship for both teams sucked last night. Alot in that game was uncalled for. I hope MV cleans that mess up. Brookville wasn't bad until the end of the game, but it was disappointing either way. Way to many unsportsmanlike penalties. .

Magma vista has to be the dirtiest football team I have ever see. For a kid to throw two punches and not get tossed because according to the ref "he didn't want to end the kids season on a wimpy punch". Then have three kids come off the sideline to join in the fight which by rule is an automatic ejection is in called for. Then to top it off you have players cussing at opposing coaches and flipping them the bird and still be kept in the game what are you teaching your kids at that point.

The kid who threw the punch should've got tossed and so should have the kid he punched. If you was watching the game, the kid that got punched clearly. Pancaked the MV player on kickoff and the MV player got up running to the play and the Brookville player chased him and pancaked him again in the back. Neither was near the play. The first hit the brookville player gave was great football but to get up and chase the same guy and hit him in the back again and they wasn't near the play? That should've been flagged. I'm sure if anybody have access to the game you will see what initiated the act. The MV player definitely shouldn't have reacted that way but both parties need to be held accountable.

I'm very critical of Magna Vista and agree the kid whom threw a punch should have been ejected! That being said Brookville were no saints when they started targeting players when they knew they weren't going to be able to move on to next week! I think MV committed their share of penalties and they sure got flagged for them, but I didn't see any "defenseless receiver" penalty for the uncalled for hit on #17 when the pass bounced in front of him and it was a dead ball! Didn't see a Flag when MV QB #3 was stopped for a loss 2 times and play whistled dead and he was still driven back several yards and slammed to the ground! Its football right! I never saw any MV player flip the opposing coach "the bird"! That's an outlandish statement when anyone that was in attendance can rebuff that statement! Truth is that MV was the best team on that field hands down! It's all in the past now anyway, so Congrats to Brookville for a good season and Congrats to the MV Warriors for advancing to the next round where they will face a very good test against my dark horse pick the Golden Eagles of Staunton River whom took down the #1 West seed Western Albemarle Warriors. The MV Warriors going to have to be ready for a team that is rolling high with 110 octane in its fuel tank cause Staunton River obviously aren't afraid of any team named Warrior! Good luck to all teams next week! Be safe in your travels!

I totally agree with you mvwarrior. The MV player that threw a punch was definitely retaliating from the slam he received so HokieTDTech and oldsport74 I don't know which game you were watching last night if you didn't see that MV players were only reacting to what Brookville started. And as adults we can all say that the kid should have been ejected because we know right from wrong but these are kids and if any kid is attacked trust me they are going to react. So in my opinion Brookville is the dirtiest team I've ever seen because as mvwarrior has stated there were many hits after the whistle and the referee's didn't blow the whistle because they were having a water and popcorn break I guess. So with referee's not focusing on the game and with teams getting out played like Brookville then frustration comes and that's why they behaved the way they did. Just ask yourselves if a team is winning why would the be upset and start a confrontation with the opposing team? That really don't make sense. MV controlled the entire game so they had no reason to be bullies. But I do agree from an adult's viewpoint that some things you don't address but we are discussing high school kids who don't have the maturity that adults have. Therefore, I'm sure MV's coach will address this with his players that they have a target on their backs because they are the defending champions and those who can't keep up with the champs will try to destroy them before they can accomplish their goal for this year. So, as the MV Warriors prepare for Staunton River this week I'm sure they will not waste a moment of sleep worrying about the misbehavior of Brookville and the referee's. The MV Warriors are focused on repeating and not on having a fan club.

GO WARRIORS!!!

Well Said.....Go Warriors!!!

Seems like someone only saw what MV was supposingly doing, not what the bee's were doing!!!huh......GO WARRIORS!!!

Y'all are delusional of course you didn't see any mv player flipping the bird to the sideline from across the field I doubt you have that good of vision. On the hot on 17 the whistle never blew so if you want to get upset get mad at the ref on that. Mv is dirty started the season that way in Salem and not much has changed. Stay classy ridgeway y'all are setting wonderful examples.

You don't know what goes on in the field
