Looks like the short sightedness of the BSCHS administrative leadership team has now paid a hefty price for the next three years. Looks like none of the Athletic programs can compete in conference championships for the next three years. This is sad for the kids as they are the ones that put in the time and effort to challenge themselves to compete in this environment. A small group of adults (including Alumni and Sponsors) were only looking for recognition and money but didn't realize the impact this has caused on the school itself as a whole.
BSCHS has to start looking toward the future of it Athletics and mend its relationship with the TCIS and get back to its true value as an Catholic academic institution. But if the article is true they will have to first start by removing the football players (that came over from public schools) from the Winter and Spring athletic teams, to comply with the current TCIS mandate, as they are currently involved in many of them. Secondly they will need to fire Chris Scott from his football head coach and teaching position as well as remove his staff that he brought over (including the interim AD). Lastly they need to look at the administrative leadership team that has backed this program including Father Dan Beeman, the principal (who is retiring at the end of the school year) and infamous school advisory board that has provided a lot of influence in bringing the program to life over the past year and half. There needs to be an investigation by the Diocese of Richmond or VISAA on the recruiting allegations and the misappropriation of funding that may have occurred at the school over the past two years.
