Buffalo Gap

Gap looked like they will have a good year. They scrimmaged Rockbridge last night and they are running the single wing and have some good backs. Rockbridge should be ok as well. They might not be a top tier team but they will win some games this year. It looked like both teams offenses were ahead of the defenses. Rockbridge threw the ball well and Gap ran it well. 1st team score was 2-2 and 2nd team score was either 2-1 RCHS or 2-2, I can't remember for sure.

I hear Gap has some real speed this season. This is supposedly the group that they have been waiting for. Also heard there are some new wrinkles in the offense. Any truth to that?

They are running the single wing so that is a new wrinkle. They have size up front and some very good runners. They will be tough. Riverheads is always tough so I don't know if BG is strong enough to beat them though. I think BG will win most of their games though but I really don't know how the other teams in their district will be.
