Got a Power 5 recruit in Benji Goznell (he transferred in from East Surry where he was a big piece in their past two state championship appearances.. Has an offer from Ohio State, Notre Dame, Georgia and Florida). Will the Cavs have anything around him to compete for a few playoff games?

I think Carroll lost several players due to graduation so from my understanding they are fairly young this year so it could be a struggle to utilize this young man. The coaching staff is smart enough to know what they have so I'm sure they will do everything in there power to get the ball in his hands as much as possible. From what I've been told about the young man is that he is definitely the real deal, super athletic and great work ethic so I'm looking forward to seeing him in action.

Thank you for the update. They beat my Bassett guys last year and they looked really good when I watched that game. Glad to see that program get some shine.

Yuppp. The older brother is the real deal for sure. Saw him torch a LOADED Reidsville team back in 2019.
