What’s this match up looking like this Friday I know what Riverheads is going to bring to table, run,run ,run and run more know nothing of what CB does

Obviously I support the Neck and hope CB does well.
I am afraid that Riverheads will roll them if they decide leave the starters in. It could make the W&L game look like a tight contest.
I hope that I am incorrect. Good luck to the Drifters and much respect for trying.
Riverheads is still on different level in all of 1A until proven otherwise and I don't think it will be proven otherwise this weekend.
CB operates out of the single wing and double wing. No QB under center
@trutiger16, not doubting it will be a closer game than some may think but do you think CB has a better passing game than Glenvar or East Rock? Just curious since the single and double wing are primarily a run first type of offense with deception and getting numbers to the point of attack as the reason it’s successful. Interesting take you have on the game though and I for one can’t wait for Friday.
I get that because I was witness to Giles throwing it around when they beat Riverheads in 2013 I think. Giles at that time was a machine with the single wing but used it as effectively to pass as to run. It’s certainly has that diversity just most teams that run it primarily run out of it.
Riverheads has been known to come out a little rusty and not as crisp after a bye. I know Castos not a fan of them, so if CB can catch them a little off their game at the start it might be interesting for a little while but I agree with you they will pull away the 2nd half once that big line starts wearing on them.
me and pops aka jer, always say rhs comes out rusty and not crisp on gameday when there is no school, so this past fri was no school but the bye week, which rhs usally has that n week 1, rhs will be ready, GO BIG RED
longs they get the win, I don't care by how many tds, but if its 49 to 14, that will be a very long ride home
also if it is a 49 to 14 score,, we will let mystery man XCROSS start the bus at the start of the 4rth quarter, I think he got his ole tractor rehauled so he has a ride to the game now, and hopefully he is feeling better
I don’t know enough about those teams to compare, but CB love a street fight, they are very resilient and play hard for 4 quarters, I think it will a good test to see how good your defense is. Get ready CB is gritty tough man.
I hope you are right. I think if CB kids don't mentally check out if they get down early, this could be a closer game than expected.
Sure they will, but CB will compete it’s honor in competing not just getting off the bus , I’m sure Riverheads fan base would enjoy a first half scare by the Drifters.
@trutiger16, gladiatorfencepatrol can attest to the fact that I always worry leading into games and this one is no different. If they played all the games on paper it would be no fun at all for us. Anything can and will happen especially coming out of a bye week for the Gladiators and CB having a bad taste in their mouth from losing to Sussex. The Drifters have their eyes set on big things this year themselves so I for one am not discounting that they will be in this game. If both teams play to what we would all agree is the mean of their capability, I say Riverheads wins by a score or two. If either play better or worse then there you have why we all love and watch sports, "the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat".
Good question , its a two sided answer. I wouldnt say they are one of the top teams in the region but if you ask around i bet all fan bases would say they are a problem, like a having a gnat around your face , you smack your self in the face multiple times trying to kill it before you actually do. ( Pest like) No Disrespect to the Beach.
