On a very cold Thursday night Centreville jumped out to a 3-0 lead on a 3 run HR in the top of the 1st inning by Scott Walter and never looked back. Riley Cummins started for Marshall while Dan Woodruff pitched 3 scoreless innings and then turned the mound over to Matt Ellis. The Statesman battled back scoring 4 runs. Brennan Arvo came in to pitch for the Wildcats and blanked Marshall in the final 3 innings and a HR by 1st baseman Matt Whalen added the final run.
