3-0 Black Knights will travel to 2A title contender East Rockingham Weds night. We'll also host 4A contender GW-Danville on Saturday. Between schools divisions suspending play and covid cancellations, we were looking at a 7 game schedule before picking up these two powerhouses. Will be great competition going into post season play. We've also got 5A contender Albemarle already on schedule for Friday. As rugged a stretch as you'll see over a 4 day span. If you have NFHS subscription you can catch all 3 of these games live as we're streaming 2 of them and ER streaming the other.

East Rock 63 Charlottesville 47 - Final
13-8 CHS
23-21 ER
39-34 ER

Cooper Keyes hit 6 threes for all 18 of his points. Nickel had 20. Refs really let them play for the first 3 quarters. East Rock did a better job of adjusting to that. East Rock went to a 2-3 zone for the final 3 qrtrs and we just couldn't buy a 3, had plenty of open looks. It was the difference as ER probably hit 9/10 from deep, we hit 2. Great game, both teams have potential to make deep runs. Congrats East Rock and appreciate the ADs for scheduling the game for us fans during these crazy times. We host Albemarle Friday and GW-Danville Sat before trio of games with Fluvanna, Western and Albemarle to close the regular season next week.
