I make no secret about it, I'm rooting for the Black Knights to do well. Primarily because one of our regular forum members is closely associated with the team. Mike and I have met him and will agree that he is one of the nicest gentlemen you could hope to meet.
A good article. Sounds like the Black Knights have a good shot at doing well this year. The QB and RB are young, talented and have a year under their belt. All good things.
Although there is a complaint I was surprised at. They only have about 35 guys on the squad and the article said most 4As have about 70. I haven't found that to be the case, in my experience. I mean, LT and Courtland only field about that 35 each year and they seem to manage. I also know my cougars are limited to 50 because that's all the uniforms they have. I've seen very few teams put that 70 number on the sideline during regular season games. Most sit in that 40 - 50 range.
