If you're going to be at the game tomorrow night I'd live to meet up. You're probably my favorite poster here and I respect your opinion more than everyone. So I'd relish the opportunity to learn something from you.

Blaster, I have spent the last hour trying to get on line.....and finally I did. I bought a new tablet and I am having all sorts of problems trying to figure it out.
I am planning on going to the game. I usually take my elderly friend who is about 80, and with me pushing 70, you got 2 old goats. He is deaf in his right ear, and I am deaf in my left ear, so we have to sit a certain way to enable us to communicate. We usually sit in lawn chairs on the visitors side. Just ask around, and you will be able to find us.
As for the game, think you did a good job in sizing up both squads. GW is still the odds on favorite to go deep in the playoffs this year. Their start has been rocky, but the material is there for a good run.GW and Galax will be tough to beat in the West.
I saw the Chilhowie/ Marion game, missed the Burton game, and saw the game with Twin Springs. GW has played the better schedule. CHS lost to Marion by 5 and GW lost to Marion by about the same amount. GW Games with Radford and Fort has probably helped them.
I keep saying CHS is young, and they are. Last week they started 7 Jr's, 2 sophs, and 2 Sr's. The biggest improvement in my opinion this year has been in the defense. The defensive coaches and players have done an excellent job. We made 2 critical turnovers against Marion that led to 2 short Scores for Marion. I am not
Saying CHS would have won that game if you take away those errors, but you never know........
It should be a good game, with GW the favorite. CHS has got some tough games coming up with PH and Virginia High, not to mention some others that will be tough. Let's hope for a good game from both squads and who knows, these 2 teams just may meet up again in the post season.
