Coach Brown meets the Cougars

By RODNEY YOUNG

For The Patriot

The Patriot and RodneySportsNow.com have learned that Pulaski County Head Coach Daniel Brown has been relieved of his basketball coaching duties.

Brown was hired in mid-June to lead the boy’s basketball program. Four months later, the Cougars are without a head coach and the start of official practice is just around the corner.

Junior varsity head coach Rajai Hines has reportedly been carrying out much of the duties of the head coach during the summer, such as informing players of when and where open gyms were being held.

The Cougars’ first action is slated for November 16 with a scrimmage at Lord Botetourt High School.

I saw that article the other day. The wording definitely raises eyebrows. Nothing good could have transpired, that feels pretty certain.
