I heard there was a Coaches meeting with the Principal yesterday. I hope this rites the ship down there.Ive never seen so much grumbling and bashing by parents and players in my life!

Here is the scoop. Any player committing a personal foul will be removed from the game ( on the coaches discretion) and will be suspended for 1 quarter of the following game. And anyone missing practice without consent will not be allowed to play on Friday night. Daggone, shouldnt this have been addressed at the first practice, not after 7 games? I wonder what some of the older P.M. alumni think about that. Seems like a sad time in B.V. Times change i guess.

How much of what has happened this season can be attributed to the head coach leaving during the summer? I haven't seen PM play this year, but from what I understand there have been a lot of injuries and have obviously seen more than a few complain about the coaching. Just curious how the Blues faithful envisioned this season would've gone up to this point if last years HC was still there?

My opinion and my opinion only, there is a total lack of discipline there. IDK if the coaches have the respect of the kids. Ive been to 3 games, and there are alot of injuries, but ive witnessed kids throwing helmets, cussing, coaches screaming at each other. No direction what so ever. And until now, there has been no repercussion at all for this. Except maybe running a few sprints at practice. But to answer your question. NO! None of this would have happened with last years coach.

I agree 100%. Like I said in other posts but I get called out for starting things or calling people out. I have heard that PM fullback quit the team not sure if its true but wow this again. Mike Craft was pretty strict from what I could tell but this staff has alot of work to do to get these boys in the playoffs. Can anyone confirm the coaches and principal meeting yesterday as was posted? These rules are great but must be installed in junior varsity not game 8 in varsity. Very weird situation up there. It really looks to me like the coaches dont even want to be there but my opinion again. I really hope they get it together and get healthy for the playoffs if they even make it. Good luck PM.

There was NO meeting with the principal. That is not true. But there was a “Come to Jesus” meeting with coaches that from what I have been told has made a big difference in attitudes in practice. We will see if it carries to games

Obtaining personal fouls, swearing, throwing helmets, and yelling at each other should be addressed by the PARENTS to their children. Get a clue. If I saw my son out there obtaining personal fouls, swearing at other kids/coaches, or throwing his helmet like a toddler he wouldn't have a chance to be yelled at by the Coach, he would be getting an earful from me.

This is a sad situation at PM. I think they believed in themselves (which isn't bad), but you can definitely see some character flaws that when things start to sour, kids get personal fouls, throw helmets, cuss, and then even QUIT the team. These aren't good attributes to have later on in life, believe me, the work world is a lot tougher than 1A football. It would be refreshing to hear the Coach and Principal had a meeting with the players to start enforcing major penalties against players when they act like toddlers, but they should never have been put in that situation because the parents should have been in that kid's ear from the start.

Is this Head coach going to see a second season as the Head coach or have things deteriorated to much to save him? If he does get a second season at the helm will he rebuild his staff or keep the existing staff?

I had the opportunity to sit in a meeting yesterday with a BVPD officer and I asked him about this. His comment was that if they continued to act like they did last Friday and throwing a temper tantrum like they did, he wouldn't be surprised if the school suspended them and they wouldn't have enough kids to play next week. He seemed very embarrassed that I knew about it from 3 hours away. They don't realize that it affects their community as a whole.

Amen. Before those kids represent their team or community, they represent their family. If my kid threw his helmet, the coach wouldn't get a chance to pull their tail out of the game because I would be out of the stands on grab my son by the facemask and drag his behind out of the stadium in front of everybody for embarrassing our family.

I believe they will keep him as far as the other coaches. I look for some changes. Most have been in the system a long time and have ties with P.M. They all want the best for the program. Thats not a doubt in my mind.I think getting the respect from the kids and it seems more importantly respect from the parents is the main issue. P.M. has a cakewalk tonite versus Bath. So that should quell the sarcasm for at least a week.

With all do respect Sir/M'aam, "RESPECT IS EARNED, NOT GIVEN"... And yes, as does a "pendulum", "IT SWINGS BOTH WAYS"!!!

Remember in this day and age.....it's always the Coach! If things get tough....cry, moan, throw a tantrum, and then quit!!

Grow up!!!!! :D:D

Ahhhhhh, and there he is again folks, "DucheBait1988" !!!

You are like a "Bee in a Bears Ass", It's all good until you put your nose in someone else's shit", then YOU have to deal with the stink!! Dude, stop sticking YOUR nose in the bears ass...

^^^This is part of the problem, a 2-5 fan base (with 2 losses of 20+ points) is referring to themselves as a "bear".

This is a learning year for the Blues. The problem is no one is teaching the Blues anything. This year would be a great year to teach those kids how to grind, lose with dignity, learn to come together as a team when the season seems lost, learn to trust your teammates and coaches in tough situations (when you're losing). But instead, they want to pout and place blame on WHY they are losing instead of LEARNING from it and using the losses as opportunities to GROW.

Keep placing blame and diverting from the real issues. Look through those sapphire colored glasses at the game. Believe me, if you do it long enough you will only see REAL success every 4/5 years when athletic classes come through.

Best of luck to the Blues and hopefully you can right the ship heading into the Playoffs!

LOL..., Not true... The reference to "The Bear" is the current situation!!! And, as hard as it is for me to admit, I TOATALLY AGREE WITH YOUR SECOND PARAGRAPH.. HOWEVER, your 3rd paragraph, not so much...

I'm not sure that you have "enough information" to as they say, "Walk That Dog" , If so, so be it.. If that's the case then you "Should" be informed enough to know that it's deeper than the "Blame Game".. If not, then maybe you shouldn't "Pick Up The Leash"!! At least, not until you can leave your own yard...

^A fan doesn't agree with the synopsis of his beloved team!? Color me shocked.

I do know something from this thread, a group of 16-18 year olds had to have a mid-season meeting to address their behavior on the field. That should tell us everything we need to know.

Again....stop fighting against naysayers of PM and address the team's issues, bud.

And I say AGAIN, YOU are "Walking The Dog" without knowing where you're going or maybe even where you've been!! The meeting WASN'T JUST TO ADDRESS "the kid's" behavior, on or off the field..

And AGAIN, I agree.. "That Meeting" should have taken place in or BEFORE week #1, and if it in fact did, then someone didn't hold up to or hold true to their word, be it the kids and or the Coaches!!
