Ty Hanchey and Jared Share both drove in three runs for the Granby Comets and they breezed to an easy 10-0 win over Norfolk city school Rival Maury. The game was played at Harbor Park; home of the Baltimore Orioles AAA affiliate Norfolk Tides.

Starting pitcher Kris Artis allowed only two hits while completing five innings on shutout baseball. He struckout seven batters without any free passes. Artis also had a double while driving in one run.

The Comets scored a run in every inning including four runs in the 1st inning and three in the 5th inning to invoke the mercy rule. Share, who recently committed to Old Dominion University, drove in the games 1st run with a fielders choice. Hanchey then doubled to center field driving in a run and he made it all the way home after an error by the center fielder.
