After a shocking big loss (to some) yesterday to Rapp, two things can happen.
Either 1) NHS uses it as motivation to improve and comes out stronger because of the humbling loss.
Or 2) NHS keeps their head down and collapses.
I have seen both occurrences after big losses many times over the years.
