Last night, James Monroe won vs. Culpeper in a big game for the Jackets. We will see if JM can ride the momentum into the 2nd half of the conference schedule. They have some good talent but haven't quite gelled. Right now, they are on a 4 game winning streak going into their exam break. Coach Bumbrey may have figured this group out as Dre Boley and CJ Miller are leading them. It'll be interesting down the stretch to see if someone can challenge Culpeper for the conference title. The race for 2nd will be good going forward. That JM win vs. Culpeper is a big confidence booster for the guys but Coach Thompson will have his gang ready for the possible rubber match. JM has to erase some demons vs. Spotsy and hold serve vs. Kettle Run and Brentsville to get into the 2 spot and the first round bye in the conference tournament.
