Heard conference 34 cancelled tournament... Has anyone else heard this

I also heard conference 33 tournament was cancelled. Top 4 seeds advance.

This is true for both conference 33 & 34.

#1 33 Bruton will host #4 34 Amelia
#2 33 Arcadia will host #3 34 Brunswick

#1 34 Greensville will host #4 33 King William
#2 34 Prince Edward will host # #3 33 Maggie Walker

Con 34 cancellation was announced tonight on Channel 8. Pairings look right above except my schedule places Brunswick in the bracket with Greensville, puts Bruton in the bracket with Prince Edward (not ignoring the other two conferences, just don't have their match-ups. Who has match-ups in 35 and 36? I know they have played some conference tournament games.

Was not pleased that Brunswick did not have the opportunity to play for a higher seed. If seeding holds but Brunswick keeps winning, Brunswick travels to Arcadia on the Eastern Shore on Tuesday (four hours), to George Mason in Falls Church on Thursday (at least four hours) and then to Hanover (two hours) on Saturday to probably face Greensville again. After beating the Eagles, there would be a fourth straight long trip to Orange (three hours) to face Bruton (just like last year).

Not counting my chickens, just counting on my Bulldogs! GO BRUNSWICK!

Conference 35 played 1/4 finals tonight, but there will be no semi or final games...not sure how they are going to seed the winners

So the top four are George Mason, Luray, Page and who else? Strasburg?

Not sure about the exact set up for the 16 seeds yet, until conference 35 & 36 finish or make a final decision. Lighthouse, I am sure that you are correct that the pairings would be a little different. I just put the top two seeds from 33 hosting the bottom two seeds of 34 & vice versa.

In C-36...R.E.Lee and East Rockingham play for the title tonight. So...they will be the one and two seeds out of C-36. Riverheads and Wilson Memorial play for the three and four seeds also. In C-35 it looks as though the seeding will be George Mason as the 1 seed, Strasburg as the 2 seed, Luray as the 3 seed and Page Co. at 4.

So....Lee and East Rock will be paired with Luray or Page co. and Wilson Memorial and Riverheads will be paired with George Mason and Strasburg I believe. Just a matter of who plays who and where.

This is why I hate this conference thing....and how teams are ranked..Page defeated more D3 teams then Luray did and won more games..granted, they were a game behind Luray in the district, but, I thought when it came to seeding for post season, your points meant more...this whole thing is to confusing for my simple mind...lol
