Yea this has been out for a couple of weeks now. They are going back to four regions like they used to do. So 17-18 will be a region 19-20 will be a region. I would guess 21-22 and 23-24 will make up the other regions. Conferences being gone I like because sitting in a conference meeting and not having played everyone in the conference yet having to vote for or against a kid is unfair. Turns into which coach are you the coolest with real fast.

I never liked conferences. I do like 16 team playoff format. Biggest mistake made was numbering the conferences. Very few gurus know who is in what conference. If someone paid me I could not say what conference Salem is in, nor Lake Taylor.
I think Gretna is in Conference 37, but I am not 100% sure.

VHSL needs to have one person realign the state, and not have ADs/Principals involved. Align state to where everyone from Lee County to the Eastern Shore are all playing by same rules.
