Good win. Highlanders were just better. We had some chances, but we couldn't capitalize and that's because Glenvar didn't let us. Better team won to tonight.

Good game. I felt like the referees were awfully flag happy against both teams tonight. I don’t think it allowed either team to build on the momentum of the game in the first half. Glenvar looked sloppy in my opinion, atleast in that first half. It was also wet but I mentioned earlier I feel like they tend to struggle some coming off a bye week.

I thought Radford played a good game. Started getting some things going late in the game too, through the air. You mentioned they were young? I think they will continue to get better and can certainly be a problem for someone in the playoffs.

Some quick receivers and when the QB is under center that little #23 can be extremely difficult to locate coming through the line and he is quick.

What are your thoughts on the Glenvar Allegheny matchup? I think it’s going to be a great test for both teams but since you’ve watched them both what do you think fairlawn?

I think it's going to be close with Alleghany and Glenvar. The matchup is massive for Glenvar fans and Region 2D fans because this game may be the single biggest game to determine if a Glenvar or Graham/Ridgeview/Union is traveling in game 14 in the semi's. If Glenvar does go on to beat Gretna and win the region, this game with Alleghany might decide where Glenvar will be playing the following week (home or travel west).

For the matchup, Alleghany is massive on the line. Huge up front. Athletes all over the field too. For the previous Alleghany teams we've seen in our district before 2023, get that picture out of your mind. Completely different team and even better than last year in which they were tough. I think Alleghany is going to give Glenvar major problems on the line of scrimmage. I would be surprised if Glenvar won. I'm rooting for you guys because I want you to play at home in game 14 if you do go on to win Reg C, and playing at home in the semis is a big deal, especially if you have Graham in the picture. You don't want to go to Mitchell Stadium in game 14. Bad things happen to Reg C teams over the years up there.

Glenvar has to give the QB time to throw it. If Glenvar can give the big guy some time to throw the ball, and get a turnover or two as Alleghany still has the occasional discipline focus issues, then Glenvar could win it. Glenvar has to stop the big play on defense. Alleghany is explosively athletic and can score from anywhere on the field. I think Glenvar can win it, but would be surprised if they beat Alleghany. Alleghany is for real this year, and it's no slight to Glenvar because I hope you all run the table and win the state title assuming Radford doesn't go crazy and catch fire. Just pointing out how solid Alleghany is.
