Today the Ciurtland JV Cougars wrapped up an 11-0 season by defeating King George JV 34-0 in the JV championship game at Courtland. Way to go JV Cougars!

20+ seniors were lined up for EV Friday for senior night. Lot of good players moving on. More good ones moving up. Pre-season pick in the Battlefield next will be tough. Coaching matters.EV drops off some I think. They will be good but the Battlefield will be wide open
Opened up against Louisa with two best players sidelined, the new stud Freshman RB and best LB did not play. Therefore not sure what or any difference that would have made, the RB scored all 5 TD's yesterday.
At Ct home coming only 9 Seniors in the lineup! And just for giggles on the season, I've if out best players a LB dud not play a single snap due to injury leading up to opening night.

Watched JV C-ship. If it translates, cougar OL/DL will get a bit stronger moving up next year. Their RB posse looks fast and could help a lot too. Looked like their CBs were comfortable in cover 2 looks. Safety’s not so much but all those kids will plug in at whatever positions they are best at moving forward. KG looked good at skills, just got worn down on the lines
