Winger...I agree with you that Glenvar has a long way to go. I have been saying that based on how they played first two games. Looks like Appomatox and Richlands and Union are the strongest teams at this point. I have been disappointed in Glenvars performance to say the least the first two games. I thought they would dominate James River but they didn't. That is why I thought CS game was a good barometer of whether they were improving or not and I thought they passed that test last night and was happy to see it. Don't think CS "gave" anything away cause Glenvar still gave away way more penalty yards than CS.. Haven't seen Giles play but I also know that if they can pass, which it sounds like they have put that into the offense, they will be much tougher to beat. Also agree that Glenvar secondary is weak against short to intermediate passes but they can shut it down if they have to by playing more players both ways which they won't do unless the game is close/critical. They are not nearly as deep as they were last year especially with linebackers. Radford will be a toss up game..agree there also. Glad to see the focus in the area on Glenvar and Giles and Radford as much as the bigger schools this year. This has to be the year of the TRD if ever there was one.
