Saw a call this weekend in a college game and the wording was odd so got me wondering if there is such a rule in high school. Defensive lineman was called for delay of game, rather than offsides/encroachment, for making "non-football" movements to try and cause OL to move. It was not a scenario where DL jumped or twitched or LB trying to time blitz and came running up. It was simply DL standing up and sort of aggressively jab stepped in direction of LOS. Again OL did not move and DL did not cross LOS but penalty flag was thrown. Any such call in high school?

That call is known as disconcerting actions or signals. I didn't realize it applied to the movements you describe, but those are not illegal in high school.

Usually, disconcerting signals is flagged when a defensive player calls signals or something that could be confused as offensive signals. In NCAA, that's a delay of game. In high school it's unsportsmanlike conduct.
