I was in your stomping grounds today. We left from the beach and stopped in Dinwiddie at a shell station on 460 with a front porch. A real nice little store inside. The nicest people. It seems like a lot of locals were hanging out and socializing.

If so, that crazy guy behind the register is my brother in law. He is the one we refer to as “First Down”!
Mary Wallace owns it and she does a terrific job. And yep, it’s sort of like Cheers, everybody knows your name. Great bunch of people that work there. The guy that runs the deli, and my brother in law, Jamie, are nothing less than a stand up comedy routine. I’ve told Mary, she could charge admission.
I hope your beach trip was enjoyable. And congrats on the win this week.
By the way, you drove past my home after you left the Slip In. I live about 200 yards from 460 by the way the crow flys, but about a mile via road.

Close to that time but a woman was at the register. We actually stopped going down and in the way back. Nice little town and very friendly people.
A great win for sure. That team beat Hopewell last week. A much needed win before we play LCA on Friday
