News broke this afternoon that Dinwiddie will play in a national showcase of champion football teams.
Dinwiddie will face the Division 4 Ohio State Champion Glenville High School on August 19th.
This game will be one of four games that make up a Showcase of top football teams from around the country playing against the reigning Ohio State Champions.

Colonial Heights agreed to giving up their game with Dinwiddie to open the up the slot. Colonial Heights was able to do this when they found an area school that needed a game.
It is anticipated that the games will be broadcast live on one of the ESPN channels.
One hurdle remains for Dinwiddie to take advantage of this unique opportunity. The Dinwiddie School Board must give their offical blessing. It is anticipated that the School Board will grant their full support at their regular meeting this Tuesday.
