Division 2 receiver rankings.. Any thoughts?

Remington Stanley and Elliot Stigall from Glenvar are both clutch especially in crunch time. Without them and a very good QB in Clifford Glenvar could very well be 7-2 or even 6-3 right now.

Richlands has several. Howie is the go to guy at 6'4 and very fast. On the opposite side we have Ball who's also 6'4. Then in the slot we run Atkinson, Collins, and Farris. Atkinson and Collins are smaller, shifty speed guys. We also have a TE in Lowe that when he is used, it takes 4 people to bring him down.

Saw some film on them at Graham I believe no chance of a win there too much of a passing attack. What conference is Richland's in?

Any idea on stats for them?
Neither is putting up big numbers like you would see on Timesland or Crunch like some on other teams because Glenvar is extremely balanced, controls the game clock with a good running game, and they have two other good receivers. What is impressive is what they have done, when they have done it, and especially who they did it against. Both are also two way players and even better on defense.

Parrish from Amelia is no question the best receiver in division to and according to Richmond Times dispatch he is #1 in the state in scoring and receiving yards the kid has got extremely gifted talent and can carry the raiders deep into the playoffs with his hands alone not to mention he is catching passes from the 2nd ranked QB in VA as-well both players are solid when they both connect usually its a hard day for opposing teams Parrish already has 17 receiving touchdowns on the year and once the stats for last Fridays game is added up he will have over 1000 yards and all of this has been done in just 53 receptions and he is averaging 123.0 yards a game and earlier in the year he had a outstanding game against Brunswick where he had 291 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns in one game! he's breaking many records the kid is outstanding. he also has rushing touchdowns and a couple defensive touchdowns as well as a couple punts returned for touchdowns! the kid is gifted with great speed and athleticism and ability to make extremely fantastic catches.

There are 2 in the times with almost 1000 both should break it this week but one is from blacksburg. The other from Grayson. Only had one catch when they played Glenvar but it was for 38/yds. Only 3 plays were called for him the whole night. He's just a sophomore. Don't think there is a single db to cover him 1 on 1. They play Galax this week so we will see.

What about the receivers from hidden valley? They have 3 in the top 25. One actually leads in receptions. What division is hidden valley in? Where are they at?

Madison County's all-state receiver from last year, Isiah Smith (Jr), is having a stellar season according to the Culpeper Star Exponent. He has scored something like 15 TDs.

Richmond Times-Dispatch only cover the Richmond area, not the state. Does Amelia post their stats on any website? It would be interesting to see how he did against Buckingham and Lunenburg.

Incorrect they beat Brunswick earlier in the year and shut down there D-1 QB and there WR and QB of Amelia are both in Top 3 in the state and reason they lost to Leunberg and buckigham was 4 players on starting offensive line couldn't step up to challenged in those games Amelia has played there best ball in the 2nd half all year long and that costed them the kuenberg and buckihman games Amelia had great tallent and there I've team went 8-1 and won there conference and there running back scored 25 touchdowns most of those I've players willl be on variety next season so Amelia will be even more dangerous next season

Where are you getting these rankings of "top" in the state? I looked on rivals and 247 and Amelia doesn't have any players in the top 100 in the state let alone top 3 of a position, you might have some tinted glasses on....

The Richmond Times Dispatch does a stats leader board for the just the Richmond area. I am guessing this person thinks the RTD complies stats on everyone from the state...

Have to agree with you 2027 with the tainted glasses comment. Brunswick win was a shootout (35-34). Buckingham is the top dog this year in the JRD and they won 67-17 (not close and do not think the blame should be places on 4 linemen), Lunenburg is always a very good team in the JRD and they won 42-14 (not close and again the blame is on the linemen), and Goochland won 38-6 (Amelia scored just before the half).

He is getting them out of his butt. Amelia is terrible and no threat to get past the second round of the playoffs. They are not even close to good

Buckingham won 67-17. It wouldn't had mattered who Amelia put out there. They still would have gotten crushed.

Uncle works for the vhsl and parrish from Amelia is indeed in top 5 in the entire state not just Richmond area and his output against Brunswick was pretty close to highest all season on any team football o

Amelia doesn't have any of there players registered on here or max preps stats

If you keep goin on this path he will eventually drop out of the top 100. First he was #1 in the state. Then top 3. Now you say top 5.
