Don't be fooled by the Eclipse.

Putting all jokes aside for a moment.
For a few hours yesterday peace fell across our great nation. No riots, no protest, no blaming, no finger pointing. Men, women and children, people from many races and different religions stood peacefully side-by-side to watch a historical event. My point is everyone shared an event that was bigger than their problems with society. The eclipse of 2017 wasn't just for one group of people but everyone came together because they wanted to see it. Only a few hours and everyone put their angers aside and was at peace as the eclipse passed over head.
If we all can put our differences aside and get alone for a few hours, there is no reason why we can't do it for days, weeks, months or years. So where does America go from here? Will this great nation go back to the labeling and blaming, will it go back to hating the ones you just shared this great event with, or even a fate far worse? Life is what we make out of it together. One day soon we will be the past that our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be looking back at. Think seriously about what kind of History that we want to leave behind for them to see. Ask yourself will they be happy with what they see from us? We all may look different, we may all act different, and we may all believe different but the simple truth is we are all the same!
