Possibly 3 out of four in Class 4 for you. Not too shabby. I think many of us though Tusky would come out of C. (or Broad Run).

Man, there are some fantastic match ups this year. Outside of C4, I would love to see LCA/Heritage, Botetourt/Christiansburg, Phoebus/Lake Taylor, and Essex/K&Q, among many others. I hope you or Matt will be able to provide “near real time” updates?

Yea, it's interesting to see how we are doing now after our pre-season predictions.

I have to be honest that some were tougher than others - and some I just went by their "history".

So far I have left:

Class 6 - 1 (James Madison - runnerup)
Class 5 - 4 (Stone Bridge over Maury in finals - Highland Springs and Green Run - not too shabby , but wish I had picked HS!)
Class 4 - 3 (Dinwiddie over Salem in finals, Kings Fork)
Class 3 - 3 (LCA over Phoebus, Lord Botetourt)
Class 2 - 3 (Graham champion, King William, Appomattox)
Class 1 - 2 (Riverheads champion, Essex)

I’ve seen LCA once this year. The team that I saw doesn’t look like they would have much chance against Botetourt or Phoebus. Their line play may be their downfall.

But overall, your pics look pretty good. I’m pleased with where my pics are. Especially when I did them on the spur of the moment. LOL, good thing that we don’t have to make a living guessing what teenagers are going to do each week!

Phoebus definitely looks like a monster!

I think LCA has a legitimate chance if their stud running back is able play.

You have to be able to throw the ball to beat the Phantoms. Their defense is giving up 2.25 points a game and they have played a decent schedule. Good luck to the Bulldogs offense.

I know that Phoebus is a heavy favorite - as they should be.

But don't forget these ARE high school kids....

I picked Salem to get to Regional final at the beginning of the year. I felt they were a year away from being really good. Today's game will show if they are ahead of schedule. Glass has Salem at home and I'm hearing rumors that Salem will be without their inside line backer and tight end. Glass has plenty of overall talent. Should be great game.
