Round 5 tomorrow night between these two teams in the state semifinals at Central. ER won first match in Woodstock 3-1, then won match two in Elkton, also 3-1. East Rock then won in the Bull Run District championship, 3-2. The two played again in the Region 2B Finals at Central because, although ER beat them three times, Central had the better overall record so it was in Woodstock. East Rock took a 2-0 lead before losing the next three, granting the Falcons their long awaited victory. Each match has gotten better so this one is sure to be good. My opinion, East Rock overall is probably the better team. But Central handled them SO well in those last three sets last week, so it should be a good one. I know this is a pretty heavy football board but thought I'd at least share to make aware. Both teams handled the Region 2A qualifiers, Central won 3-1 and East Rock went to Newport News and won 3-0.
