East Rockingham/Brunswick online tonight...

Nope, just the girls game. WSVA is a station out of Harrisonburg so East Rock is one of their local teams.

In case you're interested, the rest of their broadcast schedule this week will include:
Thurs, 3/6 6:45 Spotswood boys vs. George Wythe, 8:30 Broadway girls vs. Huguenot
Sat, 3/8 2:30 Spotswood girls vs. Central-Woodstock, also East Rock wherever and whenever they play Sat.
They'll also cover any state final games if any of the local teams are playing in.

Good luck to the Lady Eagles tonight against a very athletic and talented Brunswick team!

That's what I figured. Glad to be able to listen to the Girls' game at least.

Thanks!

Doesn't the station out of Lawrenceville cover the boys games anymore?

Pizzzza I've asked that same question but haven't gotten an answer as to why no one is covering them.

3WD 107.7 FM

Wasn't that 3WD 107.7 FM. I had that saved and forgot about it. I haven't been on there in a while. Couldn't find a phone number to see if the game was on. Just have to check later. The website is 3wdfm.com.

Re: 3WD 107.7 FM

Yup that was the station, but to my knowledge, they have not broadcast any of the games this year.

Re: 3WD 107.7 FM

Well, unless 3WD cuts Delilah short, it's not going to be on.....

Re: 3WD 107.7 FM

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I think last year was a definite 'high water mark' as far as broader community interest. I guess it was only natural. But I think there are some people out there that are missing out on 2 great story-lines in Brunswick basketball history: 1 The girls dominating & possibly on track to win their first ever state title (after many instances of heart break) and 2 The boys team overcoming a near total rebuild on the court and bench, and fighting their way to still be a contender.

Overall, the bulldog fan base has still represented well, I just wish this group would be getting the same exposure as the previous few years (ex. radio broadcasts of games). Just my perspective.

Well thank goodness you can watch all the games online now at the nfhs website.
