As with most 1st games or so, there are some kinks to work out by both teams. Sussex showed some signs of making it a game in the early 1st. They scored 1st on what looked to be blown coverage by Essex D. Looked like the cover guy may have had his eyes on the scrambling QB in the backfield and the WR slipped behind him for the pass reception. Essex answered right back and closed the half with a 36-6 score at the half. Sussex had another TD but it was called back due to a flag. Essex played mostly subs around mid 3rd until the end of the game. It was a team effort by Essex. Multiple guys scored
