Essex D was solid again tonight. W&L only got about 4 or 5 first downs all game if my memory is right, 2 ints and a fumble recovery. W&L has the NND’s and mayby Region A’s top passer (1465 yards), rusher (1044 yards) and WR (869 yards) but were held to under 100 yards total offense I believe. Great showing by the defense. Essex Offense did well but at times looked uninspired during the 2nd quarter. Gotta keep that fire going all game fella’s. Overall a good game minus the OL getting injured.

Riverheads lost 21-6. Sussex lost 30-28

W&L prob had 15-20 players out tonight so that would explain not breaching 100yds of offense lol

Other than JJ McNeill what other players at what position were out for W&L? Essex was missing three of their starting offensive line. We had #54 Jason Kelly, #55 Noah Thompson out and #67 Mark Kendall got injured on the 2nd play of Essex’s 1st possession and did not return.

Idk their names but I know their biggest lineman was sidelined with an air boot, they had another lineman out as well, J.J. of course, and another skill player. I saw one more person not dressed out but didn’t know if they were part of team or not
