Essex coaches and players

I'd like to give a shout-out to the coaches and players of Essex. At the beginning of the season a lot of people doubted you after the losses to Franklin, King William and Northumberland.

You all never gave up. Great job to the staff for finding out an offense that works for the personnel they have. It's not easy switching offenses in the middle of the season but it looks like everything is starting to click at the right time.

This was a season with a lot of ups and downs and one of the most competitive years in the district. Battles each week that have prepared the Trojans for this upcoming week.

Essex fans should be proud no matter the outcome against Riverheads. Good luck Trojans!

I second this. From a distance my view was of several teams and fanbases dismissing Essex this year. Congrats on staying the course and improving throughout the season. Safe travels in your visit to G’ville next week.
