Down 28-7, PHS drove for a score, then recovered an onside kick and drove for another score to make it 28-21, but another onsides kick was recovered and CHS kicked a FG in the final seconds of the first half for a 31-21 lead at the break. The second half kickoff was botched by PHS and CHS recovered it and kicked a FG. An interception on the next series led to another TD and a 41-21 lead. Feeling the pressure to score, PHS went for it on fourth down and 4 at its own 28 or so and the play went for a loss and CHS cashed in on that one for an easy score to make it 48-21 late in the third. From there, it was all academic.
