Just shows the disparity based on location in Group 3.
Southampton goes 7-3 because the biggest school they play is Central District/Group 3 Colonial Heights who went 3-7.
This is why those people complaining about teams with losing records shouldn't be in the Playoffs need to solve other problems first.
Solve the silly scheduling rules in place first, and the other issues will likely solve themselves.
Allow Group 3 teams like CH and Petersburg to play a schedule like Southampton...and they wouldn't go 4-6 and 3-7.
As a point of reference, the biggest enrollment school Southampton played all season was CH. On the flip side, Southampton was the 2nd smallest school CH played all season - the other was 2-time defending Group 2 State champs Appomattox.
