Wanted to alert all users, subscribers and readers about something I received from our Rivals tech team. They're releasing an update that will allow forum email notifications (alerts when someone replies to a thread a user has created or watched) to flow much more consistently.
A side effect of this update is that a whole bunch of users are going to start receiving email notifications where they were not previously.
Before that fix goes live, I wanted to alert everyone about this update so you are not confused if you start getting a flood of new notifications.
Now, you can configure / disable the e-mail notifications in your forum preferences by clicking on your name in the top right hand corner of the forum and going to the "Preferences" section, as shown in the attachment.
