Franklin 68 Southampton 26 Final nm

The score was 56-26 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The defense is really good they play long and fast. Division 1 in trouble if we have home court in playoffs.

Does Franklin have a young team or just a veteran group that has finally clicked. Reason I asked is because they've kinda came out of nowhere this year. I remember back in the 90s when I was in high school, Franklin had some really great teams. I remember one in particular that had a 6'6 and 6'7 guy. They made it to the state championship that year but lost to Twin Springs, I believe. Sussex had some great teams back then as well with Delwyn Dillard and Alfonso Joyner. That was around 92 or 93. I graduated in 95

I think those guys hit growth spurts they got two 6'5" Sr and two 6'5" jr. And a 6'4" So. Six seniors total they will be good next year also.
That definitely will help too. Sometimes kids bloom later than others.

They are a great group of kids very humble. They know that they are good but they also know that you still have to play the game. The game not won on paper. I'm proud of the work they have put in. Also shout of the the coaching staff they have put those kids in a great position to win.

Being humble and doing things the right way will take you a long ways not only in sports, but in life. I'm looking forward to hopefully catching Franklin vs Northampton on Saturday, along with Lancaster and Altavista

The core from last year is still there.. Bailey, Moody, and Perry jr.. two new additions from a local academy and franklin high former head coach danny dillon’s Rock Church, pushed them over the hump this year.Thats Torrance and Myrick.
