Varina won the UNC/Mack Brown 7 on 7 today. Beat some serious comp to win it. I know it means very little but it just shows the kind of skill guys they have. Very deep collection of skill guys. Going to be a special year for 804 football.

I think it says a lot. They were a bit limited offensively last year and from the reports I have received their new QB is a baller. The Blue Devils surely have the defense to be a state contender.
Definitely does. Those teams in NC are absolutely loaded. Greensboro Grimsley (4A state runner up; at least 6 P5 skills), Providence Day out of Charlotte (5 star QB headed to Michigan; 3-4 P5 skills), Durham Hillside (favorite to come out of 4A East this year; plethora of D1 skills), Millbrook (4A state semifinalist led by a 4 star QB) and Cardinal Gibbons (2021 4A state champs; loaded this year)… Varina won it all.
What I like about this Varina program is you never see the “we’re working” tweets or highlight videos. For the past 4-5 years, you don’t even know what or who Varina has until week 1.

Dudley just got 4 big time transfers 1 of Grimsley’s Dudley finished second last week in the King of the Hill 7 on 7 at Carolina losing to Greenville SC with Mateo Bennett
Dudley got Page’s best player too. Grimsley isn’t hurting losing 1 player unfortunately. They are absolutely stacked. Reidsville picked up a big time WR from Burlington Williams. Already has a few P5s.
