I would drive to see this gameBe interesting when Galax and Chilhowie meet in the playoffs. Could be great game
A couple of things here. First off I am not from Galax so this is just observations.Just like to throw this in there, like there wasn't enough "throwing." Galax was throwing up 35-0 with less than a minute left in the game, on the second and third group of kids for RR. Plus, whenever the officials pay attention and do their job, they will see that Galax has multiple linemen down field on most pass plays....don't give me that excuse about RPO either.
Any chance kids called the play? I still like the taking knee in this case.I had no problem with them passing at the end of the game but once they were in scoring position I would have like to seen them take a knee
I don't think the kids are brave enough to call their on play with the butt chewing that would ensue. HahaAny chance kids called the play? I still like the taking knee in this case.
The last touchdown could be score for a variety of reason. As the Old Ball Coach use to say it is the other teams job to stop them for scoring.Yeah the the last touchdown made me cringe as well. Me and another players dad just looked at each other like WTH. Although I do agree that the throwing during the last quarter and a half was more of them taking their foot of the gas than running it up. As the running game was really clicking. As for the lineman down field- it is no wonder they was confused as all get out. Half the time the coaches was signaling different signals from each other and yelling different formations Lol it was kind of comical.
Totally agree - the passing game is a huge addition to the Arsenal. They have distributed the ball very well. It will be extremely hard to key on one player this year. The last touchdown could be score for a variety of reason. I would say that Coach Dixon and his staff do a nice job of getting a lot of each of the players in the program. This is a team that gets better each game. Do they have things that they could be doing better yes and adding the passing game is one of them. They have some players at the WR that could help this team down the road
Agreed, if they start playing to their capabilities every week they will be hard to guard but they still have a lot of work to do to get there.Totally agree - the passing game is a huge addition to the Arsenal. You said it yourself, working on the pass game is what they were doing in a real game situation. Once they were down in scoring position they probably should've taken a knee but I don't think coach Dixon is satisfied with what he is seeing on the field and that's why they're working on it until the last second. Just my opinion.1. It may have not been the 3rd string, but I know for a fact it was the 2nd group of kids. So working on the pass game against the 2nd string gets you a lot of results.
2. The starters for Galax were in the game.
3. RR has around 40 kids on the roster...how do you know that they don't have enough kids that play in the secondary for a 3rd string?
