I know Northside has been beaten badly a couple times but it was against very good teams. I'm thinking this will be a tough match up for our Maroon tide. I'm hoping for a good break away win but wondering if it will be closer.

This game starts a three game stretch which will be toughest in their regular season schedule. Galax will probably be outmatched physically against Northside, with that being said I think Galax will have more trouble stopping the passing game than the run and it will be a tough test for the o line, if they can open some holes and get the running game going and keep Northsides O off the field they just might make this game competitive. This game will show just how much grit the boys from Galax have and I know Dixon will have a good game plan and if they can make game out of it I'll be happy.
This will be a good game in my opinion. Galax is physical to be so young and have some skill that can make something happen. Good and Bad. LOL! North side has lost to some really good teams . They will be hungry. For the win.
I think you could be correct. But I can also see the Maroon tide taking a good lead. I think this can be an eye opening game ( one way or the other ) for us
31-13 Galax lost. I'm quite sure that was final. I left a little before it was over. Very disappointing
We just couldn't keep pace with them and missed a few early opportunities.
Galax give them all they wanted for a half and even had the lead13-10 at the half. Northside's depth took over in the second half, most of the kids from Galax play a lot both ways and they were just worn out going against fresher players. I thought Galax done pretty good overall.
