Game of the week: Huguenot vs. LC Bird

Match up of teams that will see their best opponent on Friday night. Bird’s defense matches up well with Huguenot’s offense. Tony Nicely will have that Bird defense ready. Not a Bird guy but I’m rooting for Bland and Nicely to pull the upset.
Interesting matchup. Neither have played a murderer's row (opponents 11-24 for Huguenot, 11-25 for Bird). In fact, only one team between Huguenot and Bird's schedule is currently over .500 (Eastern View at 4-2).
I’d be shocked if Bird’s defense matches up with Huguenot. I got Huguenot by 2-3 TDs. If they are who we think they are then they shouldn’t have much trouble moving the ball after the game settles in. I REALLY like Huguenot’s OC after hearing him SportsPlug757 IG Live.
It’s about the schemes big homie. Bird’s defensive coordinator won 3 state championships at Bird under Bedwell and Bird was the winningest program in RVA Metro while that staff was there. It’s a system, they just plug and play. I think Huguenot will win but it’s gonna be close.
This is the biggest regular season challenge for both teams. Questions will be answered.
They did. Huguenot really ain’t have a lot of big plays on them. Lots of 5-10 yard scores in those 41 points. Huguenot’s defense is legit. Y’all’s offense better be able to score cause them Forest Hill Drive Boyz coming.
I don’t think match up is the correct term. Bird came out with energy and got a stop early but after that it seemed like Huguenot would always make the plays that they needed. I think the shorter TDs by the falcons were a product of LCB going down and having to go for it on 4th downs
