CV vs SL: This game will tell a lot about each team. SL has crushed four weak teams while CV has split games with their two strongest opponents, South County (win) and a surprising Champe (loss). Which CV team shows up will make a difference. I know SL has the skill players and speed to take care of business so far but are they a complete team? IMO, a tossup if the CV team that played SC shows up.

LB vs Yorktown: Yorktown has not played anyone while LB has played a very difficult schedule. LB gets their first win.

SC vs Hayfield: Ditto part of both comments above. SC has had a rough start opening with losses to two strong teams while Hayfield has played no one of note. This game will tell more about Hayfield than SC, but if SC cannot contain Cobbs I think Hayfield can pull it out in a higher scoring game. Who gets more TDs? Spalding or Cobbs?

TCW vs Patriot: Not sure what to say about this game. Patriot has done about what would be expected given their opponents to date. Same for TCW, but they could have lost the Robinson game if the game had gone to OT instead of Robinson missing the XP. Another tossup.

WF at WS: WS is another team that has yet to be tested, whereas WF has played moderately well against a decent schedule so far-and that will be the difference. WF wins.

As usual falcettik has spot on analysis. Really have nothing to add. If I were picking winners of these 5 games I’d take: Centreville, Lake Braddock, South County, T.C. Williams and Westfield.

LB and Yorktown is the one game where I've seen the teams, and I'd rate LB as a solid favorite, unless they're just in a tailspin after their 0-3 start.

With several unbeaten teams seeing their first real tests of the year, we'll learn a lot this week.

WS is going to get crushed. I don't see this one being a game.

Was at the TCW/Robo game. Lots of blown calls, that could have easily made that game go the other way. This includes the missed extra point, high and through the uprights..
