RICHMOND, Va. – The impending arrival of Hurricane Florence in Virginia is causing many area high school games to be moved from this Friday’s schedule.

It will be changing frequently, so check back often for the latest information on this week’s games:

WEDNESDAY 9/12

Hermitage at Varina 6pm

Churchland at Armstrong 6pm

Monacan at Manchester 6pm

Goochland at Nottoway 6pm

Huguenot at Cosby 7:30 pm

Glen Allen at Lee-Davis 7pm

Douglas Freeman at Atlee 7pm

Hanover at Mills Godwin 7pm

I saw Mount Vernon/Washington-Lee moved to Thursday. I suspect more could follow, but a lot could change between now and Friday. There's still time for schools to assess impact.

Varsity Football Game Changes – IMPORTANT

The varsity football game has been changed. It will be played on Thursday, Sept. 13th at 6:00pm. We will be playing Forest Park HS and the game will be played at Potomac HS, 3401 Panther Pride Dr, Dumfries, VA 22026. Ticket price is $5.00.

I saw posts about Yorktown and Hayfield as well.
I would imagine with all the weather issues recently almost all teams will move to Thursday Night if possible.
