GC went up early on the Hilltoppers and was leading by as many as 20 or 21 pts in the first half. At the half it was 49-30.
GC went cold and didn't score a point in the first 4 mins of the 3rd. SH cut the lead to the 10 pt margin but GC stretched it back to 15. GC went cold again and SH cut the lead to 7 pts.....then GC finally stretched it back to near 20 pts and kept q comfortable lead til the finish.
Zac still struggled early to find his shot from deep as he did against Boone but Vermillion, Compton, and Dean picked up the pace til Ervin found his mark. (Ot didnt take him long) When it was all said and done the "Overrated " chants directed towards Ervin were silenced. He finished with 49 pts for the second time in 4 games.
