What kind of predictions do the folks in SWVA have on this one? I'm hearing GC is down, but showed some life last week. Curious to see how they compete against Bluefield.
Do you fellas think Bluefield has anything for Richlands this year? I know its about a week too soon on that discussion, but jw
I was thinking the same thing but you never know how teams matchup so I figured I had better ask some of you fellas from down that way.I wouldnt think so but you never know. Richlands destroyed two teams that Bluefield had to win in the final minutes. Graham and Gate City. If Bluefield doesnt have a passing game i dont see it being too close.

I'd love to catch a game at Bluefield sometime, particularly a big game.
The only game bigger than this one at Bluefield is the Graham/Bluefield game. So come on down and watch Bluefield/Richlands. The Beavers will likely be the top team in the state in their class by that point, and Richlands is a top 5 team in AA. So it should be a good game.
Key for Richlands is to stop the run. Reed and Collier are great athletes. But, no team (except Union) has rushed for more than 50 yards against the Blues. If we can contain the run, I think Richlands wins by 2 TDs.
I thought I saw they were #2?Bluefield is #3 in WV AA right now and will likely move up to #2 if they beat WV AAA Greenbrier East (2-2) this week.
#2 in the Charleston Daily Mail poll (voted on by sportswriters), #3 in the WVSSAC poll which is the one that actually matters...

Are there any places you would recommend to grab a bite to eat nearby? Preferably a hometown/family business, if available.
