George Wythe @ Fort Chiswell....thoughts?

I have seen GW play 3 times over the years and 3 of those 3 were outside of Wytheville including one being the state title game. They seem solid always and just balanced. It seems they always pass well, run well, block well, tackle well, and cover well, and they are coached well. No single facet of their game overwhelms you, but what is overwhelming is how they seem to not be "bad" or deficient at anything. This explains why GW is always seemingly in the picture and they are a state title threat nearly every year. They are like a Salem at Class 4 level, except GW is Class 1. They do everything well and nothing bad, but not overwhelming at anything. That means...a solid program year in and year out.
As for Fort Chiswell, I have never seen them play. What I do know is....they seemingly are the most impossible team to predict. They have the weirdest range of records I have seen across VA from year to year. One year its 9 and 1 or 8-2, then 3-7 or 2-8 etc. I've never seen such fluidity in a program when going only by their wins/loss records from year to year. This program is schizophrenic. Even Within the year, they are up and down. For example, beating a Galax team last year and either 8 and 0 or 9-0 a few years ago, and losing to a somewhat weak Graham team that year in which they were heavily favored.
In summary, there is no way to tell when FC is involved. On paper, FC should lose to GW as GW is ranked first and returns a bunch, but......its FC and if FC wins by 10 points, its no surprise. There are simpy no surprises with FC because seemingly every season and every game is totally unpredictable. I have no clue who will win. If GW wins by 35, no surprise. If FC wins by 14, again...I am telling you...no surprise.
