FACTS
Idk many coaches who get their team more prepared for the playoffs like Dixon. GW gave Galax all they wanted in game 1 but Galax didn't do themselves any favors in that game either. GW is young but still talented and can win but for us to pull off the upset we're gonna need a lot of help from Galax. You know I'm gonna pick MY MAROON to win but I will say I won't be even slightly surprised is we get routed here.
And that right there is why I think we all value Blasters opinions on GW football. At least he gives it pretty straight. Nothing flashy or arrogant.
I would have to agree that I think GW has talent but the last meeting between the two was probably Galax’s worst performance of the season. I think GW has a shot but would have to play flawlessly. It will come down to the line play and we all know how galax’s line can dominate.

If Galax plays like they did in the first game against them GW will win, if Galax plays like they are capable of playing I think it will be a close game at the half with Galax pulling away in the second half by a couple of touch downs.
If this is close, I don't believe Galax has anything for Chilhowie.

I wouldn’t think they would gamble with that. Transfers have been known to cost schools championships.
No drama, I dont have a dog in the fight, just was a topic while stopping for coffee in Wytheville. Found it very interesting if this was the case, I'm not fimilar with the transfer rule, or if you could even transfer once the season started.
They way I understand the rule is, If they transfer they are eligible to play sports immediately if they move with their parents or guardian to an address that is eligible to attend that particular school. Any other type of transfer (moving in with cousin Eddie, out of area transfer request, etc.) there is a 1 year waiting period before they can play any sports.
Thank you for posting the rule. I couldn't imagine a transfer coming in this late into a season and not cause team disruptions, but times are changing. If there is a way Dixon will make it work.(if there is in fact a transfer new to the team)
If you transfer after the regular season you are ineligible no matter the circumstance. I would think all schools know these rules and they make sure all transfers are legit
I would think the transfer would have came before the playoffs, Again it's just something I over heard at a store in Wytheville. I guess we will find out Friday?
