Giles won 28-20 per the Bluefield Daily Telegraph. No other details. Maybe someone went who can provide details. Interesting how Graham fares this weekend.

I watched Graham and Gate City. Graham has talent but not much depth. The qb made a lot of poor decisions and threw into coverage more times than I could count. Very sloppy play and lots of miscues by both teams. If the running back for Graham that got hurt I out, I think Bluefield will beat Graham handily. Double cover Cooke and Graham's qb tries to force it to him. G men could be in for a long night on Friday.
Both looked ok on offense. Both looked bad on defense. Giles stopped Bluefield on first two possessions and after that they killed themselves with turnovers and penalties. Same for Giles, never really stopped by Bluefield. Killed themselves with good drives and stupid penalties. Bluefield has three great backs and hatdbto defend them all. Giles looked good up front. Need to get defense shored up but had few key players out. Time will tell.
