Just ran some numbers. If Giles loses to Glenvar and beats Alleghany as expected, and Floyd wins both games over J. River and Alleghany, Giles still outpoints them barely. For Floyd to finish ahead of Giles, it would require some craziness by both teams to opponents records in the last couple of games and that ain't happening.
Therefore, the way I calculated it, if Giles loses to Glenvar, they still outpoint Floyd and are likely the 3 seed and NOT the 4, which means in week 2, Giles travels to Appo. Also, I calculated Dan River. If DR wins all 3 final games and Giles loses to Glenvar, D. River absolutely Does pass Giles to be the 3 seed and Giles is the 4, and in this scenario, a likely week 2 rematch with Giles and Glenvar.
Therefore, if Giles is ones focus, forget about what Floyd does. if Giles loses to Glenvar, they likely need Dan River to win out (all 3 final games) to avoid traveling to Appo in round two. It's also unlikely for DR to win all 3. They could lose em or win them as they have W. Campbell, Gretna, and also travel to an improving Martinsville team. Odds are, they lose 1 of these. As of right now, it actually looks more likely (in my opinion) for a Giles at Appo matchup in round two instead of a Giles vs Glenvar rematch.
