Conditioning, or lack thereof?A lot more to it than low numbers

Glenvar/JR was a mudfest. The field was horrendous and that is the main reason for the low scoring game against JR. Glenvar does not score a lot of points in any game until Friday but so far they have seemed to in control of every game played because of a great defense. Glenvar/Radford will be for the number 1 seed. If Radford wins they will gain enough points for the #1 seed IMO just edging out Appo and Glenvar. .Glad to hear they silenced that place in the second half. I read somewhere that Gleanvar and Radford would be the top two teams, Glenvar didn't exactly blow them out and Radford better not take them lightly either.

Don't know if they were in control of the Galax game, without the three turnovers in a row in the second half with two of those in scoring position and the other on Glenvars side of the field we may have had a different outcome. With that being said they still found a way to win and they're a very good football team.Glenvar/JR was a mudfest. Who do you think of the three benefits most from home field in the playoffs, Glenvar, Appo or Radford?
Lack of depth caught the Spartans here. Not sure what else VaBlueDevil wants people to realize... You don't blow a lead like that from anything other than the fact that your talent can barely stand by the 4th. I think they lost at least 2 players last week (Quitting, which is a more complex issue), so the numbers they have are even lower than before. It is a tough year in Pearisburg, but James River stepped up beautifully!
Mt. Fan...how soon I forget that first game was close. Galax was mostly contained but had a couple of long runs if I remember correctly. The difference was the Galalx turnovers. I don't think Glenvar has been really tested since. Just seems like Glenvar can make stops when they have to.Don't know if they were in control of the Galax game, without the three turnovers in a row in the second half with two of those in scoring position and the other on Glenvars side of the field we may have had a different outcome. I was thinking Galax had quite a bit of success both running and passing against Glenvar and moved the ball pretty well all night on them but my memory isn't what it used to be....lol. Regardless Glenvar is a good football team and will be a tough out for anyone. As far as Glenvar and Radford go I would be very surprised if Radford can beat them from what I've seen when they both played Galax but a lot may have changed since I've seen them so time will tell.Mt. Trust me I know more about the Giles program than you probably do...I know what's going on inside the program as well...do you?
.I highly doubt that. Where you one of the fans who cursed at our players, coaches, and MANAGER during the second half and postgame from the fence. Because if so, or if you know who they are, let it be known that that proved to be very helpful to get them playing better. The bottom line is the talent just isn't there. Giles is small in most areas, and where they are big they are weak and slow. This year they take their lumps and try to build back. I will concede that if some of the talent doesn't start coming out to play, a very serious look needs to be given as to why not.
As for the homefield question, Glenvar would put a homefield advantage to use more than the other. Radford isn't as hostile to visitors (no knock at Glenvar...I mean hostile in a friendly competitive manner) and Appo just doesn't need it.

You have no clue pal

You are right. Only you could possibly know the inner-workings of a program you are in no way associated with. That makes all the sense in the world. I will just stop there. To continue will only fuel the illusion that you do know what you are talking about.

Appo just doesn't need it.
Trust me pal I know exactly what's going on in our program...I don't give a rat's behind if you believe me or not
Sure, I think that over time Appo has proven that they can win wherever they are sent (Sure different year/different team, but we look at historical stats all the time). I'm sure, as a fan, home is desirable to everyone up that way, but I feel the boys will be fine playing a couple on the road. Why not? I have a feeling that I know your answer.
