Wyrick's 34 leads Eastside past Union
Senior guard Hannah Wyrick fired in 34 points and hauled down 10 rebounds as Eastside remained undefeated with a 77-72 non-district girls basketball win over Union on Friday night.
Eastside (8-0) iced the back-and-forth contest from the free throw line. The Spartans were 35-for-47 from the charity stripe, while Union was 9-for-15.
Anna Whited added 18 points, 11 rebounds and five steals for Eastside.
Heather Lipps scored a team-high 16 points for Union, now 3-2.
