Round 1 of the 2A West and Mountain District premier girls basketball showdown between these two heated rivals goes to Ridgeview after an 8 point 4th quarter deficit. I am assuming from the West, these two as well as Floyd are the favorites. Who is good from the East in 2A this season?

I think East Rock would be one of the stronger teams from 2A East.

Add the Lady Martinsville Bulldawgs in that mix. Martinsville already beat Floyd Co earlier this season.

Which school, I don't know. I do know that a Conference 37 school is the host this year. So, possibly Dan River.
